Thank you for considering becoming a Hike For The Homeless Sponsor and supporting our mission to address homelessness in our community.
Your gifts make it possible to give people safety, food, shelter, and continued support.
As a non-profit, donations like yours made up 53% of our operating costs last fiscal year. The shelter was able to return 90% of overall support back to our life-changing programs. With your contribution, Bangor Area Homeless Shelter will continue to change the lives of our most vulnerable community members, but we need your help. Your donation meets the basic human needs of our guests, and so much more. Though our organization takes a “housing first” approach, we work hard to equip our guests with the tools, support and problem-solving skills necessary to obtain housing, and maintain it long-term.
