Meal Providers

Every day the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter provides 3 hot meals a day to our guests with a miniscule budget ($500+/-) to purchase food. On an annual basis and from that budget, we serve approximately 33,000 meals a year.  This is only possible by the generous donations of food and time by companies, organizations, churches and individuals in the Greater Bangor Region.   

The Bangor Area Homeless Shelter has a small kitchen consisting of 2 ovens, a walk in fridge and limited freezer space.  We receive donations  from individuals, and area stores and restaurants which are heated up for our guests.   Meal providers prepare lunch or dinner for up to 50 guests.
